MANY OF YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT THE MANY IMPORTANT HISTORICAL SITES OF THE FELLOWSHIP OF ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS.

I PLAN TO SHARE WITH YOU PHOTOS I HAVE TAKEN OF THEM AS WELL AS PHOTOS I HAVE TAKEN OF SPECIAL MEETING LOCATIONS THAT I HAVE VISITED.

MAR 28, 17 .. FOUL LANGUAGE AT MEETINGS ..

I am NO prude. I spent over six years as an enlisted member of the U.S. Marine Corps. I spent my career in the construction industry. When it comes to foul language, I have heard, if not all of it, most of it.

In my humble opinion, foul language has NO place within the rooms of A.A.

And?

Based upon the below photos, taken in another A.A. Alano Club, I am NOT alone in my opinion.

That being said, the below photos are of a meeting location in which I heard a great deal of Foul Language.

So why even bother to show the below club?

Because the club was really down-home and family-like and welcoming. But the language was too-much and, after 2 or 3 meetings, I did not attend further meetings at this meeting location.

A look at the exterior of the club.

Looking at the interior from the front table.
Other views looking towards the rear of the room.

The below photos look towards the front of the room.

Below is a close look at the head table area.

I plan to write a letter suggesting the club members consider the language issue at their club. To this end, I plan to send them several of the photos I have posted at the beginning of this Post as a suggested way to change the members opinion of foul language.
